Heat exchangers
Kuráňová, Helena ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the issue of heat recovery and efficiency of exchangers. The experimental part is dedicated to the measurment of efficiency of a plastic model of heat exchanger with atypical construction compared to a standard plate heat exchanger. For production of the heat exchangers 3D printer was used so the thesis uses the possibilities that 3D printing is offering nowadays.
Design of air conditioning in the family house
Němcová, Aneta ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this dissertation is the design of an air conditioning system for a family house. The design contains the actual state, in which a central unit with variable air volume regulators and air supply adjustment is designed. The first version of optimisation offers a simple central ventilation, and in the second version a decentral ventilation for the object. These options were compared based on their purchasing price and additionally from the interior comfort feel point of view. In the next part a long-term measurement of an energy recovery ventilation was performer, and data was processed to evaluate and compare the efficiency with efficiency promised by producer.
Apartment building
Herůdek, Pavel ; Nespěšný, Ondřej (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The subject of bachelor thesis, is a design of new apartment building in range of Construction Object – Apartment building and elaboration of the desing documentation for construction. The buildign is placed in eastern edge in Brno in the district Brno - Líšeň, on a sloping terrain. Apartment building is designed with four floors and underground floor with technical background. The apartment building contains eight apartments, on each floor two apartments. On the top floor are designed two apartments with terrace. There is established a wheelchair access to the building. In the building is desinged a elevator. Construciton of vertical supporting are made of ceramic block Porotherm. The vertical strucutres are made of reinforced concrete cast-in-place ceiling. Roofing is designed as double skin flat roof. The building is based on concrete foundation strips. Nearby the Apartment building is placed a carpark with sufficient parking places. The apartment building is designed as nearly zero-energy building. That has been achieved by heat recovery system on ventilation system and parameters of building envelope.
Evaluation of the operation of the air handling heat recovery system for ICU
Dobrovolná, Natálie ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of heat recovery systems. In the first part the thesis deals with the types of recovery systems in general, their evaluation, possibilities of use and design. The second, computational part, of the thesis focuses on three specific variant solutions of the design suitable for clean hospital premises of the intensive care unit. The aim is to apply the theme to a specific building and evaluate the individual proposed variants in terms of indoor air quality, spatial requirements and operational economy. The last part is dedicated to experimental measurement and subsequent evaluation of the measured data of real air-conditioning system. The essence of the measurement was to evaluate the operation and verify the heat recovery efficiency of a real plate heat exchanger installed in the air-conditioning unit serving the premises of the intensive care unit.
Design a AHU unit with respect to the heat recovery system
Otava, Jiří ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on problems of heat exchangers. There are two main objectives. The first objective is based on long-term measuring of enthalpy heat exchanger, processing of measured data and comparison of result with manufacturer's results. The second objective is design of variant solutions for two types of heat exchanger of air conditioning unit of selected shop. For variant without moisture transportation was selected cross flow exchangers. Thanks to knowledge from long-term measurement, was selected enthalpy heat exchanger for variant with moisture transportation. Chosen variants were compared with emphasis on heat and moisture exchange efficiency with requirements on Ecodesign.
Eliška Přemyslovna Kindergarten
Herůdek, Pavel ; Nespěšný, Ondřej (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The subject of my diploma thesis is a design of new kindergarten and elaboration of documentation for the construction. The building is situated in the southwestern suburb of Brno, in the district Brno-Starý Lískovec district. The building is set in a slightly sloping terrain. The building has two floors and and basement, created by partial basement of the building. The building is characterized with two wings designed at right angles and a decent coloured facade. The building contains two kindergarten classrooms with a capacity of 48 children with operational facilities, a rentable part for public, the administrative of the school and a technical facilities of the building. The first floor contains two separate kindergarten classes, each with 24 children, teacher's cabinet, toy storage room and a kitchen. The kitchen is designed without food preparation, with a food delivery company. Each kindergarten class has its own entrance. On the second floor is a rentable space containing a classroom, workshop, lounge and terrace. There are also an isolation room, a gym for children and a head master's office. The building is designed to a low energy standard, definated by near zero heat energy building (nzeb) standarts. There is established a wheelchair access to the building, A lift is proposed in the building. The structural design is proposed as a ceramic block wall with contact insulation system. The vertical strucutres are made of reinforced concrete cast-in-place ceiling. The building is based on concrete foundation and is covered by a single-skin, flat roof with a layer of extensive flora.
Kindergarten Bumblebee
Odehnalová, Marie ; Karásek, Petr (referee) ; Müller, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a new kindergarten building and the elaboration of the documentation for the construction. The building is situated in the western part of the village of Vlkov u Osové Bítýšky. The building is set in a slightly sloping terrain. The building is designed as a single-storey building. The building is cha-racterized by two wings of an arched shape and an elevated central part supplemented with sacral lighting through circular openings and a glazed front facade. The building contains two kindergarten classrooms with a capacity of 20 children with operational facilities and its own kitchen, the school's administrative operation and technical facilities of the building. Each classroom has separate cloakrooms, washroom, isolation room, playroom and entran-ce to the terrace which also serves as an additional emergency exit. The building is designed to a low-energy standard, as a near-zero heat building (nZEB). The building is designed for use by people with reduced mobility. The structural design is a masonry wall building with ETICS contact insulation forming the central part of the building. The ceiling structure is designed as a broken reinforced concrete slab connec-ted to monolithic walls within the elevated part of the building. The foundation is solved by foun-dation strips under the perimeter walls - the walls are supplemented with necks made of concrete blocks of lost formwork. The roofing is designed as a single-skin flat roof with a layer of extensive greenery. Adjacent to the brick building are wooden buildings forming the kindergarten classrooms. These are structurally designed as fan-arranged frames of glued laminated timber, wrapped in a lightweight envelope with a ventilated façade. The columns are founded on plain concrete footings, with a slab of underlying concrete to be extended in place of the lightweight envelope. Above the classrooms, there is a pitched single-skin roof with a slope sloping down towards the central part of the building.
